The afternoon of November 3, 2024, my wife and I strolled along Lake Anna as we often do. We immediately noticed an algal bloom on the water. This is about the same time as the bloom occurred last year.
I took photos and reported it to the OEPA per protocol. Took them a bit to get back to me with the response that the lake is private and will not take action but provided me with another link to report through another agency and I did that. Have not heard anything to the time…
