36 pounds of bottles, cans, bags, styrofoam to name a few, all from storm sewers.
It has been a crazy week of obligations. With that, I apologies for no pics or videos that I hoped to get out. I plan to sit at the computer this weekend and get some edited. Should be out on the bike around Summit Lake in the morning too.
There was no report to the public from them, local politicos, OEPA, ODNR or anyone for that mater. That is until George Wright ventured down to the creek on Sept 10th (4 days after the event) for some fishing only to find all the fish dead. He contacted the local fire department along with OEPA…
One takeaway from this was meeting some of the dedicated people serving here at the Nature Center (formerly the pump house) on Summit Lake. Michaela, my Cousin here from Germany, spent some time this weekend checking and cleaning booms. 3 bags of trash and another 60 pounds or should it be 27.22 kilograms, out of the waterways!
6 bags here and 1 from Summit Lake. Wendy, Dave and I are missing Debbie today. She had an injury a week ago and is recovering. She should be back a little in the future. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
